What is a Quotation?
A quotation is also often known as a quote. It is a document that a supplier will submit to a potential client that lists the proposed prices for the supplier’s goods or services. The quotation is normally created based on certain conditions stipulated by the client.
Quotations usually include quite a bit of details. In the quotation, the supplier will include a breakdown of the factors that have led to the specific price, such as taxes/VAT, material costs, labour, etc. Also included is the time frame for when a service will be completed or for when the goods will be delivered.
Here you are going to learn about the steps to create Trucking Quotation.
Step 1: Login with Fresa Gold, and navigate to Quotation module and select All Quotations. (Fig.1).

Step 2: Select the Create button in all quotations. (Fig-2)

Step 3: In the Create Quotation wizard select the type as Transportation. (Fig-3)

Step 4: Enter the client name and enter origin and destination details then select valid from and valid to date and click next. (Fig-4)

Step 5: Enter the number of packages, no of pallets, Gross weight, Volume Weight and enter sales person name then click next. (Fig-5)

Step 6: Click finish button in the Service Job info page. (Fig-6)

Step 7: Select OK in the confirmation dialogue box. (Fig-7)
